The 2024 Subaru Impreza RS brings back a bit of nostalgia with its RS badging as we look back to the early 2000s rally-look model. One big difference in the 2024 model is that it's available exclusively as a hatchback. There are other impressive upgrades to be found.

The interior of the Impreza RS is one of the roomiest in its class, with plenty of legroom and headroom. That headroom carries over to the rear seats. You'll find an 11.6-inch touchscreen display with the Subaru Starlink® multimedia system and navigation. Apple CarPlay® and Android Auto™ are included, along with USB-A and USB-C ports and wireless charging pad. The leather-wrapped steering wheel adds a touch of luxury. You can add on the available sunroof, power-adjustable driver's seat, and a Harman Kardon® sound system.

The RS hatchback is loaded with up-to-date safety equipment. The Subaru Impreza RS features the standard Subaru EyeSight® driver assist technology, forward collision warning, rear auto braking, blind spot warning, lane keep assist, and adaptive cruise control.

The Impreza RS is powered by a 2.5-liter Subaru Boxer® 4-cylinder DOHC engine combined with a Lineartronic® CVT transmission that delivers 182 horsepower and 178 lb.-ft. of torque. You'll get excellent highway and city fuel economy from this powertrain. This all-wheel drive hatchback has quick and light steering. It features heated wipers and mirrors and heated front seats.
